Master These 3 Areas of Your Life to Protect Your Peace

Our outer world seems to be getting more and more chaotic. It’s so important to take control of your inner world, and not allow outside events to disrupt your peace. You will feel so much better when you cultivate feelings of being clear and centered in your own life.

I’d like to frame this as 3 different areas to be concerned with. The first is your physical body, which includes your thoughts, emotions, and your overall sense of yourself. The second is comprised of your own personal circumstances. And the third area consists of everything in the wider world, over which you have little or no control. This would include things like the news, social media, the internet, and overall global events.

Your Body as a Sacred Space

Let’s start with your body, which is the most important area because your body houses the space of your consciousness and it’s where you experience everything. All of your life’s experiences flow through your physical body. This is the space of your inner world, where you can always find a positive center of light, love, and quietude.

Your body is the space within which you can exert the greatest level of control. This is the area that you should consider the most sacred. This is what houses your life force and your spirit.

So think about the type of energy that you are allowing into your thoughts and your emotions, all of which take place within your physical body. Your core center is that of light and love. The more that you support that, the happier you will be. You can begin to take command of that space by setting a standard for yourself.

I would suggest that you set a standard for peace and happiness by being very conscious about the nature of thoughts that you allow to enter your mind. Are you in the habit of entertaining old, unproductive, or negative thoughts that discourage you from seeking a better life? You can begin by transitioning from this habit into a new habit of consciously filling your mind and heart with optimism and gratitude.

Get focused on a positive vision for yourself, and then commit to taking action to create that. This will have a massively positive effect and help you to feel more grounded and secure.

Aligning Your Personal Circumstances

Now let’s talk about the second area, which is the area of your personal circumstances. Once you have achieved a positive focus in your inner world, the next thing to do is to take stock of your outer circumstances. What positive changes can you make either in your circumstances or in how you view them? The idea is to work towards having your circumstances support and reflect what you feel in your heart.

The more that you can achieve alignment between your outer circumstances and your inner world of positivity and light, the greater sense of peace you will feel. You will feel a sense of peace because you will know that you have some measure of control over establishing your own destiny of happiness and fulfillment.

Centered Awareness of the Wider World

And finally, let’s address the third area, which is that of the wider world around you. This is the area over which you have little or no control. But it’s also an area that can throw you out of balance and cause tremendous stress, if you allow it to have a greater influence over you than you have on yourself.

You can maintain a conscious awareness of the wider world, while at the same time keeping a sense of priority over your inner world of peace. It’s important that you exist as your own center of experience because this is where you have the most control. If you neglect yourself in this way, then you can become highly reactive to things over which you have no control. And that only produces stress, anxiety, and confusion about your life in general.

So stay in command of your inner world, which is the place from which you experience all of your life. This is your own private, sacred space that you have the power to make beautiful, serene, and secure.
