Coloring & Drawing Materials

Ohuhu Alcohol-based Markers
These are the BEST markers ever! They come in many different sized kits, but I highly recommend getting one of the larger ones. Once you try them, you will be addicted to using them!

Tombow Water-based Markers
These are great markers for coloring. They’re not as smooth and blendable as Ohuhu, but still a great coloring experience. Again, there are a variety of set sizes available.

Prismacolor Colored Pencils
Not a fan of markers? Try colored pencils! This is a great set, and Prismacolor pencils are a classic.

Zebra Colored Pens Set
This is an awesome, inexpensive set of colored pens that are great for decorating your planner, doodling, or even journaling.

Glitter Gel Pens Set
If you enjoy adding a little glitter to your art, journals, or planner pages, this is a great set with a lot of colors.

Assorted Gel Pens Set
This is a great quality set of gel pens, and they’re a lot of fun to use. It includes glitter, metallic, neon, and other ink types.

Art Pens
These archival ink pens are awesome for drawing, hand lettering, adding details to coloring, and even journaling and planning.

Hand Lettering Workbook
Hand lettering is not only fun, but also very relaxing. This is a fabulous book/workbook that will show you how to create unique art with words. It’s very simple and easy to follow.

Washi Tape
Washi tape is a great way to quickly make a planner or journal more colorful and creative. This is just one set that I have used, but you can find it in many different sizes and patterns.

Creative Haven Coloring Books
Creative Haven is a wonderful line of coloring books. This is just one of my many favorites. They have lots of different styles and subjects to choose from. (These are great with the Ohuhu markers!)

Jade Summer Coloring Books
Jade Summer is another great line of coloring books with a ton of variety. This mandala book is where I started my coloring journey. It’s a great way to begin because it’s very fun, easy, and relaxing.

ColorIt Coloring Books
If you enjoy patterns and mandalas and want a more challenging option, the ColorIt mandala books are a great option. These offer more intricate detail to color, and the paper works beautifully with colored pencils.

Art Paper for Markers
Strathmore is a well known brand for quality art paper. This paper is designed for use with markers, but they make paper for all different artistic media, and in a variety of sizes.

Sketch Paper
Here’s a simple sketch paper suitable for colored pencils, graphite, and charcoal.

Drawing/Sketching Pencils
Here’s a great set of drawing pencils that includes both graphite and charcoal pencils, as well as other tools. This is a very versatile kit.

Bullet Journal
This is my favorite bullet journal to use as a notebook and as a planner. This is great for planning if you want to make your planning space more creative. Or you can just use it for doodling! The paper is pretty thin, so beware that it won’t work with heavy inks.

A5 Bullet Journal
This is a great bullet journal if you want something with thicker paper. It’s smaller but still a great size for planning, doodling, or journaling.

Inspirational Music
Here’s a list of some of my favorite, high-vibrational music that is great for dancing or getting creative inspiration flowing. I have linked to these albums on Amazon if you want to purchase them. But you can also search for these artists and albums on Spotify to stream.
Coloring & Drawing Materials

Acrylic Craft Paint
I have never tried this particular paint. But this is very similar to what I use for painting rocks (the brand I use isn’t available anymore). Make sure to read reviews before you buy!

River Rocks for Painting
Painting rocks is such a fabulous and fun creative activity. It’s great if you want to involve kids, too. I have not purchased these specific rocks. But this is exactly the kind you want for painting. Make sure to read reviews before you buy!

Dimensions Needlecraft Kits
Dimensions creates great kits for a variety of needlecraft disciplines and skill levels. This is a great way to try out some of these activities.

Fairy Garden Supplies
The companies I got my fairy garden collection from are no longer in business. But there are many places to find fairy garden supplies – nurseries, craft stores, online, etc. This is a set I found on Amazon from a company called Pretmanns, (Please read reviews before you buy!)

Jewelry Supplies
JewlerySupply.com is a very extensive source for jewelry-making materials. They ship internationally. You can also look for local craft or beading stores in your area.

Free Knitting/Crochet Patterns
Lion Brand Yarn is a big yarn retailer, but they also have hundreds of free (and paid) patterns for knitting, crochet, and other yarn projects.
