Powerful Angels Are With You
Life on Earth can sometimes cause us to feel rather alone, especially when it comes to the deep spirituality of our inner beings. This is because we live in a duality where each thing is identified by its separation from all other things. At its most extreme level, this condition causes us to perceive that we are even separated from God. Fortunately, this separation is just an illusion, and angels are there to act as our bridge to the Divine when we forget who we really are.
The word “angel” literally means messenger from God. In its purest form, the word angel refers to celestial beings of the highest light and love, who can exert a powerful, positive influence in our lives if we feel inclined to ask for their help.
People often refer to departed loved ones and friends as their angels. Although these departed loved ones may assist us in life out of love and relationship, they are still human beings on their own journey of evolution. In this writing, I want to refer specifically to the celestial angels that emerge from Infinite Love and Divine Oneness.
Guardian Angels
Everyone has at least two guardian angels, and sometimes more. These angels stay with you for life. It is not unusual to be made aware of your guardian angel when going through a very difficult time. An example of this occurred with my daughter, Allegra, when she was a little girl of seven years old. Here is how she relayed the event:
It happened during the autumn of the beltway sniper attacks in the Washington D.C. area, in the year after 9/11. We were living in the D.C. area at the time, and there was a great deal of fear and terror going on everywhere when these attacks began occurring on a regular basis.
My daughter was having trouble sleeping at night because of this public climate of high anxiety. In her childhood mind, she was fearful that the sniper might be able to shoot her through her bedroom window.
One night, a beautiful angel appeared next to her bed. Allegra was able to describe this angel in vivid detail. As soon as the angel appeared, my child felt an overwhelming sense of peace and protection wash over her, and she felt completely comforted that everything would be okay. Years later, she reconnected with this angel during another difficult time when she asked for help. She was able to recognize this angel as one of her guardian angels.
Specialty Angels
There are countless different angels who specialize in helping with various areas of life. The one thing that they all have in common is that they always carry the highest vibration of love and light. They are peaceful, kind, and always respectful of our free will. For this reason, it is important to specifically ask for their help. They will not intervene with their guidance unless we first request it.
Celestial angels will not give you orders or tell you what to do. You are the master of your own destiny. These beautiful angels will inspire you with ideas, or guide you toward options that you may have previously missed. They are deeply respectful, allowing you to learn from your own experience. They function as loving, celestial friends.
Angels do not seek to be worshipped. They are simply here to help us reach a higher level of consciousness. We human beings actually share a similar desire to help each other, whenever we live from our hearts. Remember that in truth, such actions of assistance are always inspired by love.
If you want angelic assistance in a specific area of your life, you simply have to ask. Here are a couple of examples:
“Angels, please help me to resolve this issue around my finances.., with this person.., or with my health.”
“Angels, please help me to see what I am missing in this situation. What can I do to move things in a more positive direction?”
The angels will respond to you, as long as you don’t make it too conditional. If you have already decided what you want the answer to be, then you make it difficult to receive what could be an even better answer from your angels.
Oftentimes, the answer will come in the form of a new inspired idea that you suddenly think of. You will be able to feel a rightness in your heart about this answer. You will be filled with a knowingness that this answer will certainly move things in a better direction.
Another way that the angels can answer our requests for help is to arrange synchronous events that are more aligned with what we sincerely want in our hearts, and lead us more quickly to our goals.
The Powerful Archangels
The archangels are the highest order of angels that are directly involved in helping us on planet Earth. Archangels are the chief messengers from God, and are extremely powerful. They also function as powerful stewards of our planet’s overall evolution.
The archangels function in a holistic context of Earth’s larger evolutionary direction. It is within this larger context that they prefer to help us. It is never wise to limit our belief in the power of these angels, because in doing so we only limit ourselves. Remember that the angels can only respond to us to the extent that we ask for their help, and are willing to be open to more positive, enlightened solutions.
Archangels are non-denominational, and will work with anyone regardless of their religion, or lack thereof. Here is a list of some of the more popular archangels, and their specialties:
Archangel Michael:
Archangel Michael’s name means “He who is like God”. This is an extremely powerful angel who is best known for protection. He is especially known for dealing with the topic of fear. Archangel Michael can also help with guidance related to life purpose.

Archangel Raphael:
Raphael’s name means “God heals”. This powerful angel is best known as the angel of healing. You can call upon him for assistance with any issues related to health, for humans or for animals.
Archangel Gabriel:
This angel’s name means “The strength of God”. Archangel Gabriel helps with any issues involving children, and is also excellent at assisting with anything involving communication, including teaching, writing, and the arts.
Archangel Uriel:
Uriel’s name means “The light of God”. This angel is wonderful for helping with insights, new ideas, and intellectual pursuits. You can call upon this angel for help with learning, studying, and acquiring information.
Archangel Chamuel:
This archangel’s name means “He who sees God”. This angel is best known for helping people to find things. This can include finding practical items and finding solutions to problems, as well as finding inner peace.
Archangel Metatron:
There is uncertainty as to the origin of this angel’s name. Metatron is widely known for help with healing via the principles of sacred geometry. This is a wonderful angel to call upon to clear your energy field and align your vibration in a harmonious way.
This is a very tiny list of what Archangels are actually capable of. The truth is that we cannot know the fullest extent of their capabilities until we, as a human species, are prepared to evolve to a level that matches those larger capabilities overall.
There is an overall abundance of angelic help
This is only the beginning of how angels assist us in our everyday lives. The thing you should remember is that you are never alone, and even if you can’t see your angels, they are always there to watch over you and guide you, especially if you ask for their help.
Some people worry that accepting help from the angels is an affront to our creator. They believe that we should only seek to interact with God directly. But this belief does not account for the fact that our universe is filled with many gifts from God that we interact with every day, including each other. Angels are only one of many gifts that are provided to us to make our life easier, and our way more peaceful. We can be deeply grateful for their divine presence in our lives.
Angels are a gift from our creator to help us navigate this very difficult situation of living on planet Earth. They are dear, celestial friends who respect us and love us unconditionally. Their only desire is to help us find our way toward a better, happier life, and a higher way of living in the light and love of our creator.
Ultimately, the angels seek to guide us back toward our infinite home in the Real Universe of Divine Love, and ever-present Peace.

How to Tune into Angelic Protection
Due to recent events occurring in the world, there appears to be a great deal of fear and anxiety related to safety concerns these days. So I want to share with you some ways that you can ease those feelings by tuning into the peaceful angelic protection that is always available to you.
Our guardian angels are always with us, but it is also extremely helpful to ask for their assistance when we desire it. Our angels always respect our free will, above and beyond all else, and will not interfere with the choices we make. So communicating when we want their help signals to them that our request is a conscious choice.
You don’t have to be able to see or hear your angels to make this request. They are always able to see and hear you just fine, regardless. All you have to do is be focused and clear that you would like to receive angelic protection in whatever situation you are concerned about.
You can ask the angels for protection either in your mind or out loud. Either way is fine. The important thing is that you view this as a co-creative act, where you co-create that protective energy with them. This primarily involves your acceptance and visualization of their help.
If you are unconscious, haphazard, or skeptical about their ability to aid you, you will find it difficult to connect with their angelic energy. Thus it will be more difficult for them to aid you effectively. Angels are not some “magic button” that you push like a vending machine whenever you want something. They are real, living beings who require your co-creative energy and intention, if you want to experience the best results.
Here are some ways that you can engage with angelic energy to feel more secure and protected.
A Protective Shield of Light
This is a simple and very powerful method for feeling a great sense of protection in all kinds of situations. Here are the steps to follow:
- Stop what you’re doing and focus on the situation you are concerned about.
- Then call upon your angels and ask them to surround you with a protective shield of white light and energy so that you stay perfectly safe, no matter what. Here is a sample of how you might make this request: “Dear angels, please surround me with white light, and protect me in this situation. (Name the place or situation).” Of course, you can do this in your own words.
- To make this even stronger, ask the angels to accompany you and ensure that you are safe.
- Now visualize yourself surrounded by white angelic light, and envision yourself surrounded by angels. This will help you to energetically connect with the reality of the angels’ assistance.
- Depending on your level of concern, you can continue to visualize this as you go forward, or let it go and trust the angels to safely guide you. Either way, it is important that your consciousness be engaged with their assistance.
There are so many situations in which you can engage this method with your angels. Here are a few examples:
Travel
- If you are driving, you can ask the angels to surround your car with light and protection.
- You can also do this with air travel. Ask the angels to guide you in making your reservations. Then when you board your plane, you can ask them to surround the aircraft with protective white light and energy. You can even ask the angels to surround your plane, and accompany it with protective energy on its journey. Remember that angels come in all sizes. It is no big deal for large, powerful angels to accompany a large aircraft!
- In the past, when I used to travel a lot, I would use this method with my luggage. I would get very focused on each piece of luggage, surrounding it with light energy as I was checking it in at the airport. I would ask the fairies to go with my luggage and ensure its safe arrival. (Fairies are ideal for this!) I never had any luggage get lost or delayed when I did this. However, if I forgot, then sometimes there were issues.
Everyday Situations
There are times when we can use our intuition and decide whether or not we should go somewhere. But there are other times when we may not have a choice, such as when going to work or to school. In those cases, if you are feeling uncomfortable or anxious, you can use this same method. The angels are very happy to go with you and surround you with protective light if you ask.
Whenever you have a choice about where to go or what to do, use your intuition. Then once you have made your decision, if you feel anxiety or uncertainty, you can always apply this method for additional angelic protection to help ease your mind.
Archangel Michael
Archangel Michael is the most powerful of all the angels for shielding and protection. If you find yourself in an unexpected or emergency situation, he is a wonderful angel to call upon for immediate assistance and calming.
Archangel Michael’s colors are gold and electric blue. He will often use a purple and gold light for shielding and protective purposes.
This angel is so powerful, that he could literally hold the Earth in the palm of his hand. He is compassionate and loving, and exudes tremendous strength and certainty in all situations.
Ask him to shield and protect you with his energy if you are ever in an uncomfortable situation, in which you don’t feel safe.
Angel Protection for Children
The protective shield of angel light is a wonderful method that you can teach your children, if they are experiencing anxiety about situations that they must engage in, such as at school.
My daughter, who was 7 years old at the time, met one of her angels during the sniper attacks in the Washington DC area after 9/11. The attacks were happening all around where we lived. She was feeling pretty terrified about all that was going on, and was having a hard time processing her childlike interpretation of things.
One night, when she was in bed and feeling afraid that the snipers might get her, one of her guardian angels appeared to her. Standing next to her bed, this beautiful angel dressed in green, with golden wings, looked at her with tremendous love in her eyes, and my daughter was instantly filled with total peace. She was able to describe the appearance of this angel in great detail. She still maintains a relationship with this angel, whom she calls “Annie”.
Your children may or may not see their own guardian angels, but their angels are always there for them. You can teach them to ask their angels to protect them and surround them with light, as was described above, whenever they are feeling anxious or afraid.
You, yourself, can also ask the angels to surround your young children with protective white light, and to accompany them throughout the day.
You are an important part of the equation
It is important to know, that when it comes to angelic protection, your consciousness is an important part of the equation.
The angels can best help you if you function as a co-creative consciousness with them. This means listening to your intuition, and taking responsibility for your actions and decisions. It is not helpful to view the angels as a shortcut to bypass your own human evolution.
Angels are not here to tell us what to do, or to act as a substitute for our own common sense. It doesn’t work to try to make them responsible for the outcomes in our lives. They are beautiful guides and messengers, but we are responsible for what we do.
Angels are a divine gift from our creator, and act as amazing companions that only wish to love us and serve as guides in our individual evolution. They are not here to control us or to take over our human responsibilities. They love each one of us unconditionally, with the same love as our creator, and are happy to assist us in empowering ourselves.
Take advantage of their divine friendship and ask for their comfort and protection, whenever you feel the need.
