How to Connect with the Fairies
You have probably felt fairy energy many times before, and just didn’t realize it. It’s that magical feeling when you walk through a quiet forest and hear only the melody of nature’s sounds. It’s the sparkling, enlivened energy that you feel when you sit by a brook, or the joyful experience of walking among fresh wild flowers growing in a meadow.
Fairies are everywhere in nature, and are an essential component of the health of our planet and the universe. They are nature’s angels who watch over and guide plants, animals, birds, and all of the natural elements. Sometimes fairies can even act as guides for humans. Especially if those human beings are deeply connected to and respectful of nature.
Fairies are elemental beings of light who are much closer to the physical world than angels. This is why they can sometimes display physical evidence of their energy. Their bodies are of a higher vibrational energy than purely physical beings, but they can sometimes shape-shift into a visible presence for those who are gentle, sincere, and respectful of them and their important role in nature.
Why is it important to connect with the fairies?
Right now it is more important than ever to connect with the fairies. Technology is overrunning our planet and destroying her natural habitat. What many people don’t know is that we are currently experiencing Earth’s sixth great mass extinction event. The last time this happened was 65 million years ago when the dinosaurs disappeared from the face of the Earth. So this is serious!
I believe that this current mass extinction event is more notable than previous ones for the following reason. In previous times during Earth’s history, such events made way for the evolution of new biological life forms. But in today’s world, scientists are busy trying to produce what they call “artificial life”. Such a life form will likely be synthetic and not necessarily carbon-based like we are. Depending on how events unfold, it is possible that such a life form could replace us, along with the planet’s inherent biology.
I often wonder if there is some sort of alien influence in our current technology. I only say this out of a common sense perspective. It is clear that our current technology is not friendly to biological life. Therefore it could be classified as alien to Earth’s indigenous life forms. Which is why it is wiping out indigenous biological life the more that it advances.
And that brings me to the subject of the fairies. I sense that the fairies and other elemental beings are sending out a distress call to each of us about the state of our planet and the natural world. It is inconceivable that the fairies are not deeply affected by the current course of human events.
Planetary evolution, the fairies, and us
The universe is filled with all kinds of benevolent help for us here on Earth, in the form of angelic beings, guides, and other powerful, loving beings. But the availability of that help is reliant upon our desires and free will. If we send out a signal that we no longer care about nature on this Earth, then we do nothing to attract that help to ourselves.
How much we care is expressed by each one of us as individuals. Are you so engrossed in technology that you no longer believe that you need the outdoors? Are you paying attention to the wildlife all around you, or are you oblivious to their existence? How important are plants, trees, and flowers in your life? Are you kind to animals? Are oceans and rivers just places to recreate, with no thought of the universe of life that is struggling to live beneath the waves? The answers to such questions reflect the level of consciousness that you currently feel about your life on this Earth. It shows how much all of this matters to you.
The fairies provide us with a wonderful opportunity to heal from our detachment from nature. And it is imperative that we heal if we are to hold onto the beauty of this magnificent paradise called Earth.
By connecting with the fairies we can restore our original connection to nature and the universe. We can signal that all of this beauty matters to us, and begin to change the consciousness on this planet back to a feeling of reverence for Gaia, our beloved Mother Earth.
The personal benefits of connecting with the fairies
The personal benefits of connecting with the fairies are almost endless. Here is a list of only a few:
- Reconnecting with the power and magnitude of nature and the universe
- An increase in consciousness, intuition, and overall sensitivity
- A re-awakening of love
- A greater depth to all of our experiences
- An increased experience of harmony
- Feeling more alive
- More happiness overall
- Improved health as a result of being naturally attracted to a healthier lifestyle
- Feeling more balanced, centered, and grounded
- More magic!
Ways to connect with the fairies
The first thing to do if you want to connect with the fairies is to step into the fairies’ world which is outdoors in nature. Although fairies can be found indoors around plants and our pets, they are best connected with outside among trees and natural plant growth. If the idea of connecting with fairies is new to you, you may want to begin by going for a walk or a hike in a natural setting that has not been manicured by human hands.
Start by taking in the energy of nature. Quietly attune yourself to the feelings all around you. Treat the fairies with the same level of sensitivity and respect that you would give to a wild animal that you want to observe.
Next, you want to let the fairies know that you wish to connect with them. You can do this by speaking to them through your thoughts and feelings. Open your heart, be humble and sensitive. Show through your demeanor and energy that you care for nature and the Earth.
The fairies will see you and assess your energy. If you elicit trust from them, they may come near, even if you don’t visibly see them. Let them know of your desire to reconnect with nature in your life. Let them know that you want to work together with them to bring greater love into the planet.
Be very patient. Like any new relationship, it takes time to get to know one another. The fairies respond to a gentle, sensitive approach. They will flee from harsh or negative energy.
You can also practice this in your yard or garden. Spend some patient, relaxed time learning to attune to the magical energy inherent in nature. That magical energy is fairy energy!
How to create a fairy environment
The best way to connect with the fairies is to create a fairy-friendly environment. If you have a garden, invite the fairies to help you nourish your garden with love. Fairies love anything that is allowed to grow wild or with a minimal degree of manicuring. They do not like chemicals or pesticides. If you show them that you are willing to encourage plant growth without the use of harmful chemicals, you are much more likely to attract them to your garden. Organic gardening is the best!
The more love and care that you show for plants and animals, the more willing the fairies will be to work with you.
Here are some things that you can add to your garden that will deepen your connection to the fairies and attract them to you:
- A water feature like a fountain or small pond.
- Flowers that attract butterflies and dragonflies
- Shiny objects like crystals hung from trees or placed among the plants
- A fairy village with tiny pieces of fairy furniture that you can purchase online
- Fairy and angel garden statues
- Small offerings and gifts for the fairies like candies or raw chocolate (unwrapped) – (Note: Make sure your dog or cat doesn’t eat chocolate, as it can be harmful to them.)
- bird feeders and birdbaths
And then there is the most important ingredient of all, which is your heart and your sincere love for the nature that surrounds you.
You will know that fairies are gathering in greater numbers to work with you when you see more wildlife attracted to your yard and garden, and watch your plants and trees begin to flourish. It is tremendously rewarding and enriching to co-create with the fairies. Your garden will become an oasis of peace, happiness, and magic when it is filled with fairy energy!
Do you have any experiences with the fairies that you would like to share? What are your thoughts about fairies in general? Share with me in the comments below!
Faeries and fairy energy have recently (and unexpectedly) become a big part of my life. I spend as much time as I can in Nature and have opened up to a rich new world beyond what I ever could have imagined. Such love I feel for the trees, flowers, birds and other plants and animals. That love returns, in an unending circle that flows through all.
I also feel a tremendous love for the faeries, like a thundering river in my heart. Following the suggestion in one of your Facebook posts, I invited them into my life and home. Sometimes I am fortunate enough to see and hear them. They are the most exquisite, deeply beautiful and sweet beings imaginable.
I can’t imagine a world without this beauty. It is my dearest desire that all of Nature flourish without abandon along with our mother Earth.
Thank you so much. I am deeply grateful for your post! 🙂
Nature’s beauty, rich and true, deeply in my heart.
Spirits and angels of nature abounding with love,
Have awakened in me a deep sense
Of peace and tender sweetness.
There is no greater love than life calling to itself,
With the sharing of joy and recognition of hearts,
Beating in time together, pulsing with an energy
Of all the wonderful possibilities of existence.
Avalon, this is such a beautiful, poetic expression that you have shared with us here. I truly love the way you have described your experience of nature and the fairies. So authentic, real, and from the heart!
I truly think that this is the kind of heartfelt experience that the fairies are trying to elicit in all of us. This is what we all need to re-connect with our beloved planet Earth.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! 🙂
I have a garden that is not really manicured. I leave a lot of wild plants which some people consider weeds. I have a fountain a door for the fairies, and I feel them near. Like I told you what I saw that night, still see it in my mind and feel so blessed. Love mim
Mim, a garden that is not very manicured is just what the fairies love! Your garden sounds magical, and I’ll bet it’s full of fairy energy. 🙂
The experience that you’re referring to sounded so beautiful. Feel free to share it here if you are so inspired. I’m sending you much love and magical fairy blessings!
I am so glad that you created the PDF with suggestions for apartment living. I was feeling a bit sad about not having a garden anymore to work with as I was reading the blog, but I already have pots and shelves with plants on my deck. I have been looking for some fairy or angel statues or nature figurines, so I guess I am on the right track. Now, I will begin to consciously reach out and invite the fairies. What fun! I didn’t know about fairy furniture and houses, which I will definitely get.
One question is what is the connection with mushrooms? You often see images of fairies with mushrooms and you mentioned mushrooms as a decorative item conducive to fairies.
Ann
Ann, I’ll bet you can create a very magical energy of nature in the space on your balcony. It could be a totally fun and creative project!
There are many legends about fairies and mushrooms, particularly in Celtic lore. In fact, if you ever see a circle of naturally growing wild mushrooms, that is called a fairy ring. It is said that fairies will gather in such a ring and dance and celebrate. Fairies can be very fun-loving!
Fairies will also live in communities where there are wild mushrooms growing. So it is a good idea to be conscious wherever you see wild mushrooms, in case there are fairies around.
I hope you have a wonderful time creating the fairy space on your deck! 🙂
ya i would really like a fairy friend. and creating a home for it. I guess i would really respect nature this time!
Oh how I love this blog. This is so near and dear to my heart. I truly love the faeries. I love that feeling of Magic when I am outside. I have to be honest and say that being outside with the trees, flowers, water and all of nature is so natural for me, that I prefer many times to being out there over being with many people.
To me, the trees, flowers, birds, and rocks are like beings who communicate with me. I love them truly, and they respond to me with feelings. I love them. and i am sure that the Faeries have a lot to do with this connection. I have even had thoughts wondering if I was possibly an incarnate Faery.
.
I have been a true Tree Hugger ( quite literally) since forever I love to wrap my arms around the trees. i think they need that. They are beings who are stationary, but beings non the less. It feels to me like they crave and need that human interaction. They are so wise and so beautiful. I would imagine that when you love a tree, that love is grounded into the earth. Isn’t that beautiful.?
I recently went to a local nursery and bought some flowers as part of my gift to the faeries. I had these flowers in my arms, and after I paid for them, i said… “ok, let’s go home now”. The cashier who had just taken payment for the flowers, said to me.. who are you talking to? I answered, the flowers of course. I am sure that she thinks I am nuts. I don’t care. I love them. .
Thank you Saratoga. I love the Faeries. I hope many many people read and respond with the love to Nature.
Kathleen, I love what you said about everything in nature being alive and conscious as different kinds of beings. This is so true! The awareness of this expands our enjoyment of life exponentially. It’s so much more beautiful to recognize that our planet is alive in every way, instead of the false belief that only certain things are alive and conscious.
I love what you said about buying the flowers. That’s so sweet! And being a tree hugger is the best 🙂
I love your blog Saratoga! Your description of the fairy energy in nature confirms so many things for me. I have felt this profound peace often in nature although I’ve never actually seen a fairy. Where I live trilliums are considered a true sign of spring. I enjoy looking for them in any woodland area I can find. The fairies never disappoint!
Marianne, maybe if you really connect with that energy in nature with a heightened awareness about fairies, you might develop an increased sensitivity to fairy energy. That would be awesome! So glad to hear that you enjoy being out in the woods. Such a magical place to be 🙂
yes the longing from my depths is here for me its intense im making oodles of changes and considering more must text kim about setting up some furniture for fairies ive a communal garden . i remember reading the findhorn garden to my children dardoe and nicole we all loved it so kurmos the little nature beanie actually i be reading it on the subway where kurmos asks rock why humanbeing are so supid the ppl all around laughed in unison i can see and hear sometimes i know moving deeper into nature is something im wanting one time i be so at one with kurmos and we went to school together seeing through kurmos eyes acute clarity absolute love joy and a certainty that only the stream of wellbeing exits which is true there no dark switch i want more thank you saratoga thank you for loving the fairys outloud a planet were being a cynic is said to be so intelligent
i pray to be myself outloud moreand for more connection with nonphyical love and peace mikkala
That is a really important point that you made here, mikkala, about people believing that being a cynic makes a person intelligent. This is such a common belief, yet when you put it in words this way, it really sounds like the opposite of intelligence, doesn’t it?
That would be so cool if you put some fairy furniture in your communal garden. 🙂
I really think it’s time that we humans come out of our strange collective belief that we are the only real intelligence on this planet. That is actually funny in a very tragic way, when you realize that we are the only creatures on this planet who just can’t seem to get along with nature. Every other living thing on Earth does not have this problem. Yet we think that this bizarre behavior makes us so smart! I think there is a real insanity to this, if you ask me.
I’m sending you much love and many blessings to feel free and comfortable to express yourself as you truly wish.
What if the only place i have near me is mostly manicured? Fairies exist there?
Thank you for this inspiring message. I have always been one to get lost in thought and fantasy as a child and in my adult years. I believe in the fairies. I think you can sense their presence when taking walks in the woods or even in public parks, if you listen.I have been places that have told me to come back just by their beauty and solitude. I know they are around because I feel a bed to look for them when I’m out walking.
I live on 40 beautiful acres and i often walk the woods and enjoy it so much. Ive never seen a fairy but i have always been open to the idea of how special it would be if I did. When you speak of fairies are you saying you actually see them or feel their energy?
When I was 7 or 8 years old, a girl and I were playing at a play ground. She told me to follow her voice and be patient. And so I did. I had seen two “tiny people” that day, in Asia. The female wore a long, white dress with a golden hair (which I found rather unusual. For Asians only have dark, long black hair) I wasn’t near enough to see if she had wings or not. And the male wore green clothes and a green hat. In a way, he reminded me a lot of Peter Pan. They were so tiny it was almost too hard see them. Mainly because of the distance from where they were and from where I was standing. They blended so well with the greenery/plants, that even if I was near….that it would still be easy to missed them. I saw them by the creek surrounded by plants. I saw them almost every day during my childhood though not close enough to conversate with them because of the creek. I couldn’t quite saw their faces, but I could see them move and walked around. I saw the female waved at me. That’s when I figured out that they could see me too. Seeing them almost every day was the high light of my childhood. I was very fascinated. One day, I asked the girl if she and I could cross the creek to see them up close. She said we would need to bring offerings and she told me that we might get trap in their world so we decided to not push our curiosity’s limits. Now that I am much older, I still believe in fairies. About half a year ago, my fiance and I took our dogs for a hike. I also happened to brought my camera with me. As we were walking, I quietly said that if there were gnomes or fairies in there….that I would like to see them. My fiance took a picture of me and my dog while we were facing away from him and the camera. When we got home, I loaded the photos in my laptop only to find out that there was an orb on one of the pictures. The very picture where my dog and I were facing away from the camera, but I happened to notice that my dog was looking at the direction where the orb was. When I zoomed in the picture, I saw a tiny man sitting inside the orb and it was so crystal clear. It was a “tiny person.” I guess not losing our “inner child” and believing before things happens or appears before our eyes is the key to experiencing another dimensions/realms/world. Humans, plants and animals couldn’t possibly the only living things/individuals in the galaxies.
One day, I was in my garden reading this blog, and I tried to connect the fiaries by give them some food and spoke a few words. A few minutes later I heard a magical sound, it sounded like crystals. I believe in them and think their beautiful. Hope to see them one day 🙂
I live in Alabama. Are there fairies there?

Dear Madam,
I am a Chinese and I am from Singapore. Unfortunately in my country, very little people believe in Fairies.
If I talked to them about Fairies, people think I am Crazy.
But I believed in them and I know that they exist in this world.
I am very interested to Find / See / Meet them.
But due to the Coronavirus Outbreak, Singapore is under a Semi Lockdown. Therefore, all Parks and Gardens are Closed.
1: Where is the Best Place to Meditate and See / Meet the Fairies ?
2: By the way, is there any Prayers / Chants to Contact the Fairies ?
Please kindly reply to me as soon as possible. I look forward to receiving your reply soon. Thank you.
From;
Miss Estella Yeo
Singapore is a garden city. Though manicured in many ways, our city is blessed with cultured bougainvillea, palm trees and other tropical plants. Fairies are everywhere. Even in floral shops. Walk into one, you will smell the difference in vibrations. The other is essential oil shops. Especially those with a running nebulizer diffuser exuding fumes of pure plant essence. I am not surprised fairies linger to enjoy a whiff of their homes and energy. Go explore. Much pleasure awaits.
At my old house, one day I was out hanging clothes to dry. I’ve always loved violets, and had a large circle planted with purple ones beside my clothesline. I felt compelled to leave the laundry and look at the violets that day, and was totally surprised to see a white one in the midst of all the purple! Rather than seeing or hearing, I sensed fairy magic and energy. I have since become very conscious of fairy energy, and know that these marvelous beings exist. I would love to see something written about working with fairies inside the home, and if anyone else has had experiences with fairies other than outside in nature.
Small twigs with carvings. Tree bark with carvings, faces, letters, words. Most often the word ‘Pan’ and a face of a man with goat-like features. Could it be fairies leaving these gifts? Do the fairies worship Pan? Or is it Pan communicating with me?
