What is Wrong with Our Planet?
There is a strange discrepancy between what we know in our hearts to be true, and what we see all around us in terms of the conditions on our planet.
Our hearts tell us that all should be love, and that pain and suffering are wrong and shouldn’t exist. Our hearts do not believe that there is any validity whatsoever in pain. In fact, as human beings, we will do everything we can to avoid the experience of pain altogether.
Yet pain exists, nonetheless. So how do we cope with this fact? When we can’t avoid the experience of pain, we do the next best thing. We rationalize it. We tell ourselves all sorts of fairy tales about why pain, as unpleasant as it is, is necessary. We even go so far as to raise it to the level of a religious, spiritual experience.
We tell ourselves that pain is God’s will. We tend to characterize it as a strange form of either learning or punishment. We try to rationalize its existence by believing that we deserve it. And most religions have ancient stories around why this is so.
All the while that we are telling ourselves that pain and suffering are either some bizarre learning experience or God’s will, we simultaneously insist that God is infinite love. Really? How indeed can these two ideas be reconciled? The truth is that they can’t be.
Rather than confuse ourselves further, let’s settle on one truth. Can we at least settle on the fact that God is love? Can we settle on the fact that infinite love means there is literally nothing else? If we can’t settle on one simple truth about our creator, then there is no hope that we can ever find our way out of this quagmire.
How Do You Explain the Existence of Suffering?
So let’s say that we settle on the fact that God is infinite love. The next, most obvious question is: Then how do you explain the existence of suffering? How do you explain the existence of death? Well, that’s easy. Something has gone very wrong here!
The suffering on our planet is not limited to just human beings. It exists throughout the realm of all life here, plants and animals included. We can continue to rationalize this for eons, or we can simply acknowledge that this is a major problem!
In order to comprehend all of this, you have to be willing to step back from our Earth. You basically have to assume an extraterrestrial context. No, this does not refer to little green men from Mars. This is about stepping back from the problem in order to get a perspective.
Imagine that you came from a realm where the only thing that ever manifested was the infinite love of our creator. That sounds rather coherent, doesn’t it? Why is it that we don’t expect that same level of coherency to exist here?
So let’s say that you come from that beautiful realm of love in creation and you suddenly encounter a place like Earth for the very first time. What will be your immediate reaction?
You will witness the violence, the duality, the fear, the confusion, and the endless stream of suffering. Will you say, “Oh, sure – this makes total sense!” Or will you say, ” Whoa! What in the world is going on here? Something is very wrong on this planet!”
I submit that you would say the latter. I submit that you would find no justification whatsoever for what you see going on here. In other words, your mind would be clear. You would not be confused.
Now what if you actually were some extraterrestrial in this situation and you decided to come down to this planet and talk to the people in order to find out what was going on.
Remember that you are very clear-minded about God and infinite love. You are not at all confused. So you ask the people here about their situation and this is what they say:
“Oh, yes, we find this truly unbearable, but it’s okay because we have discovered ways to cope with it. One of the ways that we cope with it is we have religions that explain to us that this is all for our own good. It’s spiritually necessary to be hurt, because God wants that.”
“Some of us don’t like religion, but that’s okay, too. For those people, we have New Age thinking. This explains to us that suffering is good because it teaches us things we need to know. It’s an important learning experience.”
“And then for anyone left over, we have an additional smorgasbord of explanations. For example, pain and suffering are good because they teach us how to appreciate not experiencing such things. You know, like the best way to appreciate love is to experience not having any.”
Now stay in your clear-minded position of being the extraterrestrial in this conversation. What are you going to think about these very strange responses? You are probably going to see these people as victims of their own confusion. You will also see it as very difficult to help them because they are so given to accepting and justifying the existence of these things. And moreover, how do you help people who have assigned all of this trouble to the will of their creator?
Why Perspective is Important
Perspective is vital because it determines the results of our evolutionary situation. Free will is the law of the universe. If we insist upon assigning the existence of pain and suffering to a God who wants it that way, then we will be left to continue down that path.
People often wonder why there appears to be little or no help for our planetary condition. Why do things just keep getting worse and worse? Well, start by looking at our collective beliefs. If we continue to deem this situation spiritual and necessary, then we shall continue to live through the experience of that discrepancy. We shall continue to live the experience of our literal denial that God is all-loving.
Think about this for a moment. If we insist that pain and suffering are spiritual and God’s will, then we are favoring that belief over our deeper knowledge that God is infinite love.
What is Really Going On?
The answer to this question is simple. We are literally experiencing the duality created by the lie that there is something that is not God. In other words, we start with the truth that God is infinite, ever-expanding love. You cannot tamper with that truth. You cannot change it. But you can lie about it.
I’m not suggesting that we are all walking around deliberately lying. It’s much deeper than that. This is a lie that was created outside of time and space. It literally gives rise to time and space as we know it. It actually gives rise to its very own laws of physics. It is the lie that created the finite universe that we live in.
This lie arose from a very bizarre question. If you were to state this question in English, it would be “In the infinite universe of divine love, everything is known by what it is. What would happen if something were known by what it isn’t?” And thus an instant answer was created in what is known as the finite universe that we live in today.
This entire finite universe is predicated on a simple duality. It goes like this:
- The Truth: Everything is a manifestation of infinite, divine love. Everything is a manifestation of “I AM the creator.” “I AM infinite love.”
- The Lie: “I am NOT infinite divine love.” “I am NOT the creator.”
Now you may think, “So what? What difference does a lie make, if it’s not true?” Well, it makes a huge difference when that lie manifests as an entire universe in everyone’s experience, as though it were some kind of strange, creative prerogative.
It makes an even bigger difference when we defend it as a necessary part of our spirituality. Even though we may be living in a total illusion, we are going to experience that lie as though it is completely real. And thus you see the violence, pain, death, and suffering that we witness every single day on this Earth.
What’s Next?
What’s next is actually what is first. We have no hope of ever changing what is wrong on this Earth unless we first change our perspective. We have to stop lying to ourselves. We have to assign full credibility to what we know and feel in our hearts.
We have to stop trying to have our cake and eat it, too. This means that we have to get real and stop pretending that an all-loving God created suffering to teach us something or to punish us. We have to stop cowering in our self-made caves of guilt, and emerge as the true creators that we are.
We have to be able to make clear, unadulterated statements of fact, that God is infinite love and can only create more of the same. And then we have to get behind that fact. It is imperative that the message we send to the entire, creative universe is that we are tired of all this duality and want to be restored to our right minds, where love is all there is.
If you want to know more about how the principles discussed here literally create the experience of fear, you can read about it in my book entitled “The Final Elimination of the Source of Fear“. Here is a link to it on Amazon, if you want to check it out.
Okay, everyone – I would LOVE to read your comments on these ideas! What do you think? Have you unconsciously framed pain and suffering as a necessary part of life? Or have you always suspected that something is amiss in the usual explanations? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
I think people thrive on duality. No one would truly like it if conflict didn’t exist. I think this is way out of hand because people are so frustrated with the seen changes. Some are not, however for those of us affected, it seems incredibly insurmountable. No Christianity, gray marriages, racism, just to name a few. I have been horribly affected. I have had to split out what I don’t believe in vs what I do. I steer clear of conversations that show such disbelief. I’ve had to reposition my perspective as to what I believe. I sometimes still get very angry. Its sort of like being in college again and having my belief system challenged. Although I have some understanding, the what’s of things still baffle me and I have no answers. I just know what is wrong for me and what is OK.
Catherine, I think that so much of what you describe here are symptoms of the inherent duality at the base of our human perception. Yes, I think many people do believe that they thrive on duality.
So much of how people know themselves is by looking at what they are not. This inherent conflict then becomes necessary for people to feel that they are somebody. (I’m not this, and I am that, etc.) So much of how we perceive the world is founded in conflict.
It appears that now many belief systems are being torn apart in so many ways. Regardless of what you believe, this is a very stressful situation. What can ease the stress is a deeper recognition of the fact that in a finite world of duality, nothing is ever stable. It’s all a product of the same thing.
The best we can do is to look to our hearts. There we will always find peace, love, and Oneness. That is our oasis of truth in the storm of unpredictable change.
As you said, I think it is most important to know what matters to you, and stay centered in your heart and true to yourself. That way you won’t be confused.
The clearer my spirit becomes the more I cringe in disbelief that in using my beautiful gift of freewill I made so many false assumptions which, according to Mikhail, produced the context that supplied me with my own perception of reality. The things is, even though I no longer think that way, I still have to live through the many unfavourable reciprocal effects I created when I lived the lie. The difference is that I know now that I was, am, and will always be the creator; so, with the right volition, it is only a matter of time I will free myself from my own self-enchainment.
Thank you Saratoga for producing this context, to to supply me with greater clarity.
Monica, if you stay centered in your truth and live from that place, eventually the rest of your life will begin to reflect that truth more and more.
Taking action from what you truly believe and want is the best way to transmute the stuff that is no longer appropriate for you.
Mikhail has always said that taking action toward your dreams and desires is the best way to transmute and eliminate unwanted patterns forever. He said this to address the fact that a lot of people believe it’s better to work on their patterns first, and wait until they are finished with that process before pursuing what they really want in life. He said if you take that approach, the process never ends.
Hope this is helpful! 🙂
Oh, how I love him!
Hi Saratoga; I agree.
It really does come down to asking the simple yet vital question: “Why the suffering?”
That question plagued me since my early twenties if not before. I had a spiritual awakening in my early twenties and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that God IS Love.
Yet I could not reconcile that experience and knowledge of the truth with the condition of rampant suffering here on Earth, so I set out to find the answer. A part of me just wanted out. Fortunately the part that wanted to know the truth, my heart, prevailed and I eventually found the answer I was looking for.
That answer came in the form of Telstar’s event entitled: “The Final Elimination of the Source of Fear” by Saratoga and Telstar. That was when it was a live event. Since 1995 the event was made available in a book of the same title.
Nowhere else did I find anything resembling the clear and unequivocal truth communicated by Telstar.
The truth does not change ever. We are beings of infinite love created by an omnipresent loving God yet we have chosen to believe in a fundamental lie that has led to a massive and far reaching illusion manifesting as a universe of seeming duality. It never ceases to amaze me how steeped we are in this blatant lie: that we can somehow be separate from God and not who we were created to be. Just as darkness is dissipated by the light so too will the truth dispel this primordial lie of separation.
Can a ray of sunlight be separate from the Sun and exist without it?
Doug, can you imagine how powerful it would be if people took a real stand for the truth that is in their hearts? It would be totally awesome if people just stopped believing the impossible lie that there can be a truth that isn’t love.
As I said before, Omnipresent love means exactly that. Infinite love also means there can be no such thing as duality.
Certainly our experience of duality is totally manifesting here. But we have to start somewhere! So why don’t we start by acknowledging the fact that we harbor a false belief that there can be something other than love? If we are experiencing something other than love, then something has gone horribly wrong.
The thing is, addressing this perception inside of ourselves will take work. It’s not enough just to acknowledge it and then simply sigh and say, “Oh, well…”
Shrugging our shoulders and acknowledging it with resignation won’t change anything. We have to stand up as creators and say, “Enough!” The magic will occur when we actively change our consciousness to match what we know in our hearts to be true, and then begin to live from that place as best we can. That is the only way to truly evolve out of this situation.
By the way, Doug, I love your analogy of the ray of sunlight. So totally true! 🙂
Wow.. this is the best blog ever!!! The Truth in clear and concise words. All of this is so true. Our perspective is clouded with lies, and it is time to stand up for the truth.
The book of which you speak is nothing short of a miracle. I remember doing this process. I lived in Washington DC at the time. It was spring. People in DC used to grow flowers and have beautiful gardens. I remember the day after that event, I saw flowers for the first time in my life. There was an energetic veil that was gone, and I could interface with Nature like i had never been able to do this before.
In looking back.. I remember feeling as if I was in Heaven. I couldn’t believe it. Such wonderful experiences. And now that process is available in book form. My goodness. for the cost of a paperback you can change your entire existence.
I encourage any of you who are reading this blog and my comments, that if you have a desire to be free and understand the truth to please get that book. Do it for yourself and our beautiful planet.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience here with The Final Elimination of the Source of Fear, Kathleen. It really is a truly awesome process! 🙂 xoxo
As far back as I can remember, I knew that something was very very wrong in the world around me. What I saw was cruelty and suffering and a tremendous amount of unhappiness and it never ever made any sense to me. Why was I the only one that saw this? Nobody seemed to talk about it all, as if it was just “the way it is and there’s nothing we can do about it”. I know now that everyone does see the pain and suffering at some level, but most end up rationalizing it away as a way to cope with it all. That didn’t work for me. I could never accept the rationalizations – I was driven to find the cause and to find what could be done about it all. I kept saying to myself “Why? Why? This doesn’t make any sense at all!”
I finally began to find answers to the questions I had been asking my whole life in Telstar’s “Final Elimination of the Source of Fear” process. I would recommend the book linked at the bottom of this blog post (above) to anyone who wants to shed profound light on the whole situation and and who wants to make a permanent positive change in their life.
It’s in our collective hands to make this the truly beautiful, loving world that we all know in our hearts that it is meant to be. So let’s do that! We are already creating our our world in every moment anyway, so why not make it full of love and happiness? 🙂
Thanks so much for this awesome comment, Avalon! You are so right about the fact that it can seem almost surreal at times that we tend to collectively ignore the strange unhappiness and suffering all around us.
And I also agree that it may not be so much a matter of ignoring it, as it might be just an attempt to cope with it. I don’t think anything will ever change on this planet until we take a serious stand in our hearts for what we know to be the truth – which is that this painful stuff shouldn’t exist at all.
Thank you, Saratoga, for taking this stand openly. It’s like a breath of fresh air. I recall how I used to feel ensnared in a net of the confusing stories that rationalized the state of suffering on this planet. I felt weak, small and vulnerable to disappearing. None of it gave me comfort or reassurance. When I met Telstar, their message confirming the state of the world was not aligned with Truth started making me feel strong, whole and present. This was such a powerful awakening and an opportunity to take the path to true freedom. I can never go back and for this, I am eternally grateful.
This is a great point, Lucille. If we feel that all we can do about the suffering is just explain it away and rationalize it, then that can lead to such a diminished, powerless feeling.
You are right that there is not much comfort or reassurance there. It really is amazing what happens when we acknowledge and state the truth that is in our hearts. Validating that truth is tremendously empowering.
I am glad you can never go back to anything less than true freedom! 🙂
Thank you, Saratoga, for this amazing message. What I’ve come to learn so far, and the journey continues, is that the best thing and really the only thing I can do is to be responsible for my own thoughts and actions. Daily meditation is helping a lot as I centre myself in truth in the moment, focus on my goals, and acknowledge appreciation for everything that’s good in my life and in life here on this planet. I continue to focus on all of that throughout the string of moments as my life unfolds as much as I can and create and adjust if I get off course.
Truly for me, staying conscious, watching my thoughts and feelings about everything, and making choices in each moment as to how I respond to what’s going on around me, how I feel and choose to act is wrapped up in my purpose for being here. This has been a growing realization, and revelation for me. Everything you’ve been sharing through these past months has opened me up even more to how vital and important my perspective is. And how I can affect the collective by living in truth rather than allowing the lie to exist in my consciousness.
Thank you for all of the wisdom you impart constantly. Your presence here and the truth you share with such love and non-judgment is profound and helps me resonate with my own truth and to focus on my goals and dreams, rather than what hasn’t worked or isn’t working in my life. Much love and joy to you, dear Saratoga.
Thank you for everything !
Leigh
Leigh, it sounds like you are in the process of a major paradigm shift, which is awesome! I love what you said about focusing on your goals and dreams, rather than on what hasn’t worked. That’s huge and definitely the doorway to massive transformation. 🙂
Thank you Saratoga for this profound article!
It is wonderful knowing I’m not alone in knowing that suffering is wrong and unwanted in the world. Our thoughts create our world. Therefore, being mindful and living in the now is all.
I’ve always stood up for those that can’t and am a staunch advocate for animals and children in abusive situations. This is sometimes an up hill battle but God has given me a warriors spirit and help from Archangel Michael so how can I go wrong!
We will overcome, I’m sure.
Namaste, my friend.
Love, peace, and joy♡
