Ascension is an amazing phenomenon that is well worth understanding. When you are clear about what it is, your ability to align with it can set you on a powerful course of accelerated evolution and spiritual development. Yet ascension is a term that is sometimes difficult to grasp because its many definitions lack sufficient context. I find that the easiest way to understand ascension is to define it in the simplest, broadest context possible.
The best way to understand the meaning of ascension is to place it in a universal context of human evolution. Ascension refers to the metaphysical evolution of any given planet, star system, galaxy, or life-form into a higher state of consciousness and being.
You will often hear the term ascension applied to the action of beings evolving upwards through higher dimensions of consciousness. Oftentimes these dimensions will be numbered.
For example, it is currently accepted that we live in a 3rd dimensional reality. So from here, we should be evolving upwards into the 4th, 5th, and 6th dimensions accordingly. These numbers are merely markers or points of reference that correspond to our conceptual, mathematically based languages on Earth. They essentially give us a way to talk about ascension, and know where we are to some degree.
But you do not need to get hung up on these numbers. In fact, there are an infinite number of dimensions in the cosmos, so take these numbers with a grain of salt. Personally, I only use them to signify movement and provide a sense of focus and direction.
A Powerful Cosmic Force
Ascension is always happening because the universe is always evolving. What you need to understand is that ascension has different seasons or “clocks”. There are times when it moves rapidly, with numerous points of acceleration and activation. And other times it moves more slowly, in order to give space for adjustment after a particularly accelerated period of evolution.
Ascension is guided by cosmic forces of evolution. It is a phenomenon much bigger than our planetary realm of existence. We cannot control its actions, but we can control whether or not we choose to align with it. It exists as a force of nature that is far more powerful than any given life form on this planet.
So what is the aim of ascension and why does it matter? Its aim is simple. It is a force of nature designed to guide all of life, along with this entire universe back into its true state of Oneness. It rests on powerful principles in the Omniverse, which are under the control of the omnipresent power and source of all creation. (Some might call it God.) We humans have absolutely zero power to tinker with or change these principles, even though our egos would like us to believe otherwise.
The best way to look at ascension is as a profound opportunity for accelerated evolution back into the state of who we truly are as infinite beings of light and love. It affords us amazing support from the universe to powerfully boost our efforts towards happiness, peace, empowerment, and clarity. It is the source of our collective spiritual awakening.
We are currently in an accelerated period of ascension on our planet, and this accelerated energy is only going to increase. If you want to have the easiest possible journey, you would be wise to align with its energy. You can do this by becoming increasingly self aware.
Signs You Are Feeling Ascension Energy
Pay attention to your intuition and how you feel. You may notice yourself experiencing many signs of spiritual awakening. These signs are fundamentally marked by a deep desire for positive change, along with a growing intolerance for the old status quo of life as you’ve always known it. You may find yourself becoming more and more passionate about seeking answers that exist outside of the usual mainstream current of thought.
Perhaps you will find yourself wanting to live your purpose, instead of merely trying to survive. You may notice an increasing desire to live a healthier lifestyle. You may feel a desire to meditate and seek alternative spiritual solutions.
All of these (and more) are signs that you are feeling touched by this amazing ascension energy. Pay close attention and follow your inner guidance. You will be most happy that you did!
The world needs Light and stability right now. We can sit back and wait for this to happen all by itself, or we can play a conscious role in contributing positive energy into our collective situation.
It’s a common human habit to always assume that someone else (even God) will ultimately take care of things. But this denies the very real fact that we human beings have a specific purpose in this Universe. We are creators, sourced in Love, whose purpose it is to create out of that very same love.
We are currently witnessing a grave downward spiral in our world, where division, hate, and fear are being fomented on a near 24 hour basis. At first glance, it can appear that the wisest thing to do is to pick a side and then battle it out to see who “wins”. But, of course, no one wins in this scenario. A toxic climate such as this benefits no one.
It is time for Lightworkers to come out of the closet, and accept the power of who we really are to effect positive change and transformation.
What is a Lightworker?
In the new age, metaphysical world, there are numerous definitions for lightworkers. But I wish to propose the following: At our core essence of who we really are as infinite beings and creators, we are all meant to be lightworkers. We are all equally responsible, on this planet that we share, to transform our situation into that which is a reflection of the divine love from which we have come.
Fighting, raging, and hating does not accomplish this goal. Nor does sitting on the sidelines observing it all accomplish anything either. We are not meant to be passive with our energy.
So what is one to do? On the surface, it looks like the only options are to either enter the fight, or remain on the sidelines. The so-called choice to be either passive or aggressive is not really a choice at all, because they are merely the opposite sides of the same coin of duality.
A lightworker is a person who recognizes the futility of duality, and instead chooses to center themselves in Love. This means love in action. It’s not about paying lip service to a cause. A lightworker is positioned at the core of their divine soul purpose to act as a transformational force of energy on this planet.
A Call to Action
The word ‘lightworker’ is not a label. It’s not some metaphysical title that you can hang on your wall. It refers to love in action, consciousness in action, and divine light in action. Only you know for sure if you are acting as a lightworker, because only you know what you are truly experiencing. Your innermost feelings will tell you everything about whether or not you are acting on behalf of your true essence of light and love.
We humans have another very bad habit of thinking that, as individuals, our lives don’t really matter much to anyone beyond our own small circle of family and friends. And sometimes, even in that small circle, we put ourselves last in terms of our perceived importance. And this belief becomes a very convenient excuse to remain passive in terms of how we influence the world with our energy. We think it doesn’t matter if we are miserable, upset, or stressed. We are in complete denial of our real human power.
Look at it this way. The more that people are unhappy, angry, negative, or depressed, the more the world can be said to be experiencing this negativity, in a general sense. And thus the more we are all shrouded in this veil of negative energy. Where does this energy come from? Well, it comes from the full collection of human beings who, as individuals, are each expressing their personal negativity about their own experience.
If we are not going to live as lightworkers, then we are going to stand back and allow ourselves to succumb to this negative energy of stress and strife. We are going to pretend to ourselves that we don’t matter enough to make our efforts worth it.
It’s time for a call to action. It’s time to stop lying to ourselves about the influence that each one of us has energetically on the entire world situation. Our light and love contributes a powerful, transmutational force of positive energy into the world.
How does this work on a practical level?
Let’s look at a simple analogy in nature. If you place a plant in an environment that is toxic to that plant’s well-being, the plant will struggle, and may even die. That same plant will thrive in a healthy environment of sunshine, fresh air, clean water, and nutritious soil. In an unhealthy environment the plant will suffer, if the soil, air, and water are loaded with toxic poisons. The plant will be weak if it does not have the benefit of adequate sunlight.
We human beings are exactly the same way on an energetic level. In a healthy environment of the strong, positive energy of light and love, we can thrive. In a toxic environment filled with the energy of hate, fear, and resentment, we suffer in our resulting collective weakness. The negative energy saps our inspiration and happiness. It darkens our light, and diminishes our hope and creative ambition.
So the answer is simple. If you see that negative energy is pouring into our human consciousness by our own human hands, you can choose instead to be a lightworker. You can contribute light and love into the world instead of negativity.
Realize that your vibration of energy is an absolute part of the greater whole. You can wake up every day and decide to put as much positive energy into your own life as possible. You can decide to be happy, loving, and kind. You can decide to take care of yourself and build a better life overall. Because you are not separate from the rest of the world, you are also contributing this same positive energy into the collective space that we all share. You are now bringing more light into a very dark situation.
Remember that darkness always succumbs to the light. It has no power whatsoever in the moment that a light shines and radiates its brilliance. In that moment, the darkness instantly ceases to exist. Be a lightworker, be a Light, and contribute a much-needed positive energy into the world!
Our world is becoming increasingly violent and chaotic every day. This is a worldwide phenomenon, and not limited to any single area on the planet. It is time to discuss our evolution in a more advanced, mature light.
Occasionally I hear from people who say things like, “Well, obviously God and the angels aren’t helping us, or this place wouldn’t be such a mess.” Although I can sympathize with why they might feel this way, I think it illustrates the fact that we are not getting to the bottom line of what is really going on here.
In fact, in some ways, these people have a point — although it’s not the point they may think. Perhaps we need to take a different view and ask ourselves why it appears that the necessary help is not forthcoming. In fact, if our beliefs accurately illustrate how things are supposed to work out, then why have one more second of pain anywhere on this planet? After all, what is God waiting for, for heaven’s sake?
Clearly, there is something erroneous in our belief systems. So rather than persist in believing in a millennia-old reality that shows no evidence of being true — which is that our job is to wait around for God to rescue us — why don’t we recognize the gravity of our situation and begin to question what we might be missing in our perspective?
Earth is not the center of the Universe
Our first mistake is a false belief that our planet lies at the center of the universe. There is literally no evidence whatsoever to back this up. The fact that we continue to hold onto this primitive belief in spite of all evidence to the contrary, promotes a collective spiritual arrogance that undermines our ability to climb out of this strange situation and live from our hearts in a universe of love.
We cannot afford to continue acting as though we exist as the beginning and ending of all life. We are not the alpha and omega of the entire cosmos. This spiritual arrogance is so extreme that we behave as though the entire universe was created around us, and therefore we will not be allowed to perish.
We live as though our violent planet is an imperative and exists as some kind of spiritual, cosmic “school” designed to teach us how to move towards the light and climb the ladder of spiritual hierarchy.
Think about it, friends. Earth is inherently a beautiful, gorgeous paradise. Do you really believe that our divine creator would take such a place and decide that it would be a grand idea to turn it into a location of violence, pain, destruction, and suffering in order to teach us all a lesson? Is this God’s idea of the centerpiece of the entire universe?
The truth is that we are one tiny planet among countless others that exist in equally countless dimensions. Yet, our collective ego is so large that we fancy ourselves to be utterly indispensable, no matter what we do. In fact, some of us behave like petulant children with our arms folded across our chests, tapping our foot, and saying, “Come on! What’s taking so long? When is this going to happen?” — referring, of course, to our expected salvation.
It’s time to spiritually grow up
Everything in this universe happens by way of the laws and principles of physics. However, there is one thing you should be aware of. Entire universes of physics can be created as the result of a single thought. Freedom of thought can occur at the macro or micro level, but all thought has consequences. Underlying all of it is divine love. The extent to which thought aligns with love, is the extent to which the outcome will reflect that love as its manifestation.
Somewhere in the cosmos, a thought occurred to try a bizarre experiment. What would happen if love were denied, and thus a false space called “not love” could be created? Well, look no further for that answer because we live with it every day. We live with it in the form of violence, death, hatred, and fear. We live with it in the form of aging, disease, confusion, and pain.
If you align your consciousness with a belief that there is a place in your experience where God is not, then you will live in the hell of what that feels like. And currently, we are all living in that collective hell on this planet. This is the experiential manifestation of this false belief.
Our situation has nothing to do with cosmic schools of spiritual learning, waiting to be rescued, being punished, or the proverbial battle of darkness and light.
By the way, darkness is merely the absence of light and therefore is a no-thing. When have you ever turned on a light in a dark room and seen a battle take place between the two?
Let’s clear out some false assumptions standing in our way
We have one of two choices from which to center ourselves. Living from the heart is one choice, and allowing our egos to run the show is the other. The false belief that these two choices exist as equal opportunities is precisely what produces the massive amount of chaos that we see in our world and in our individual lives.
The ego exists as a false identity that emerges from separation from our divine creator. It emerges from the absence of love, which can be defined as fear. Fear is exactly what it feels like to experience separation from God. Anger is the subsequent defensiveness that follows when you believe that you are cosmically on your own. It is designed to push away all that now appears to threaten you. It’s you against the world! (Multiply this across 7 billion people or more, and you have real problems.)
The assumption that such negative experiences should matter to us because they are part of our spiritual growth is insane. It is imperative that we give up such false assumptions because they only serve to keep us trapped. They make it impossible for us to experience the relief and restoration that is so desperately needed in our lives and on our planet.
The idea that there is a valid choice between the ego and our hearts is literally crazy, when the ego only leads us further down the path of darkness and despair, and further away from the love of our creator.
That’s like standing in the middle of a burning building and saying, “Hmm… I wonder if I should stay here and burn to death, or perhaps I could run outside.” As though both options are entirely valid.
Until we recognize that there is only one valid option, which is to live from our hearts, we will continue to believe in our own insanity.
Why live from the Heart?
The word “heart” clearly denotes a center. It is THE center. You might notice that the ego is not a center of any kind. It is a manifestation of chaos, confusion, smoke and mirrors. It is like an aggravating gnat that never goes away. One moment it tells you one thing, and the next moment it will tell you the opposite. It is constantly nattering away at your mind, causing you to be jumpy, fearful, and always uncertain.
The ego causes you to react, while the heart urges you to calm down.
The heart IS your center. It is the center of your being. It is literally the origin of YOU. It is the place from which God created your being out of love. Why in the world wouldn’t you always want to be centered there? Of course you would want that.
The ego wants to constantly distract you away from your heart. It will even go so far as to convince you that your heart is irrelevant and a useless source of anything important. “Let the chaos reign!” says the ego. That way you will never be able to think straight for your entire life, because you will be so busy reacting to the ego’s chaos.
Do you know why the ego does this? It’s because the heart has the actualpower. Not the ego’s phony power of fear, that can only use tactics of intimidation to freak you out.
On the contrary, the heart has real power. The power of ongoing, infinite light that emerges from the center of all creation. How’s that for a contrast? Which one do you want to be aligned with?
The Heart is the only thing that can lead us back to love
Everyone wants to go back to God. Isn’t that true? But how are we supposed to get there? The first thing we have to do is to align with God’s energy and presence. There is only ONE way to do that. And it’s not by aligning with the ego’s chaos.
Common sense will tell you that the only way to align with God’s presence has to be to first experience that presence within yourself. If God is creating and sustaining you right now, which of course that power is, then isn’t it obvious that you already have the deepest possible relationship with that force of love? Isn’t it time to stop saying that God is out there in space somewhere, never to be seen or found by you?
There clearly is a center of infinite love within you, or you wouldn’t exist at all! In this way, we actually are each at the center of the universe because our very existence emerges from that center of divine love that creates all things. The ego has tried to steal this truth from us by causing us to believe that our violent planet is at the center of God’s universe. And thus, according to the ego, we have nothing to worry about.
The heart is the place within you where your very existence originates. It is where you share the breath of God in terms of the creation of your being. It is your only refuge from the storm of this finite world. The heart will calm you and bring you back into the center of truth and divine love.
What is the practical answer to our planetary situation?
The practical answer to our planetary dilemma involves a few steps. Here is a summary of what they are:
We must give up our collective arrogance, fomented by our egos, that we are the center of the universe and therefore indispensable. The truth is that we can have any experience we want, including our collective demise.
We must decide if we have had enough of our false beliefs that haven’t served us, including the one that we are waiting around to be rescued. There is no evidence anywhere that this is how things work, or we would have been rescued a long time ago.
We must stop listening to our egos. The ego exists as a substitute, phantom self that emerges from a belief in the absence of love. It is a voice of chaos, fear, anger,and confusion. It has no center whatsoever, and serves only to distract us from our true center, which is the heart. The ego keeps us constantly off-balance with fear-based reactions to everything.
We must learn to take our hearts more seriously, and stop living as though such a thing is optional. We must stop placing the idea of living from our hearts at the bottom of our list of priorities. We have to stop saying that we are just “too busy” to take the quiet time necessary to get back in touch with our inner truth.
We have to individually decide if we have had enough of this battle and all of the false beliefs that go along with it, so that we can learn to pray effectively. Instead of praying for people to wake up and change their bad behavior, we need to take a more intelligent approach and pray for the elimination of the underlying physics that make such bad behavior possible. If the principles for bad behavior didn’t exist, there would be no such thing as all of this chaos.
And finally, we need to realize that there are indeed many benevolent forces in this universe trying to help us. But in order to receive that help, we will have to give up our demand that such help conform to our impossible systems of belief. We cannot continue to hold onto our need to rationalize the existence of our plight with all sorts of spiritual explanations, and simultaneously be freed from our pain. We can’t have our cake and eat it, too. We have to get out of our own way.
It is imperative at this point in our evolution that we become intimately familiar with our hearts, and learn to live from that place. It is our only true center. It is the only thing that can light the path and show us the way home.
Take some time each day to find that center within your heart. Ask for help. Stay there as much as you can. Go to that refuge within, and seek the peace, comfort, and clarity of God’s divine love. Take God’s hand from within your heart, and you will indeed be led away from the darkness of our current situation.
The terms lightworker and life purpose are intimately woven together. Understanding the meaning of the word lightworker can help you to unlock the secrets of your life’s purpose. It can also bring great advantages in living the most fulfilling life that you can.
In its simplest form, you could say that a lightworker is a person who works for the light, or whose intention it is to bring more light and love into the world. At its highest level, it refers to a person who is divinely inspired by God to devote his or her life to making the world a better place.
Many people function as lightworkers, and don’t even know it. To help you better understand this, we can identify three primary levels at which lightworkers function. Understanding these 3 levels can help you a great deal in identifying your life’s purpose. It will also empower your experience, if you already know what your purpose is.
All three of these levels are necessary and important in the world. By understanding them and knowing how you function in relation to each one, you can achieve greater clarity about what you are doing with your life overall, when it comes to your life’s purpose.
Level One
Level One is perhaps the most common level. This is a level where people who are basically positive make a concerted effort to bring more happiness and peace into their surrounding environment.
This level consists of people who are primarily concerned with acting as a positive force in the lives of people they know. They bring a healing, loving, empathic energy to those they come in contact with.
They tend to be forgiving in nature and are great listeners. They are likely to pray for others, and extend their good wishes for the welfare of others wherever they go.
Lightworkers who function at this level do not necessarily connect their professions or lifestyles to things that are spiritually oriented. However they bring an elevating energy and higher standard of caring and love into their professions. They are truly great people who generally uplift everyone around them, and act as a positive force in people’s lives.
Is there a downside to this level?
There is only one small downside to functioning only at this level. And this does not apply to everyone, but only to a select few. It applies to those who know that they are meant to function at a more comprehensive level than where they are today, but are afraid to do so due to fears and sensitivities.
The downside to this, if you feel you are capable of more and have a higher calling than your current way of life, occurs when you attempt to rationalize that your presence and energy in your current situation is all that you need to offer the world. Of course this is a positive thing for others, but you may have to live with the nagging feeling that you are not reaching your full potential.
Level Two
This level is much more comprehensive than level one, and includes people who have made it a profession (either part or full time) to do something practical and meaningful to help others. It also includes those who volunteer in order to help others who are less fortunate.
People who function at this level may not refer to themselves as lightworkers, but they serve that purpose nonetheless.
Some examples of common professions that are loaded with lightworkers are caregivers, health care workers, rescue workers of all kinds, artists of all kinds, teachers, therapists, public servants, and many more. In general, these people have devoted their lives to helping others to cope with the many difficult situations that people and animals face in living on planet Earth. These wonderful souls live to promote the overall betterment of humanity.
Those who volunteer and/or donate money to positive causes that better the lives of others are also level two lightworkers.
Spiritual and Personal Development
There is an additional category of level two lightworkers. This consists of people who make a focused attempt to help others expand their consciousness and evolve spiritually in some way. Many of these people are involved in metaphysical professions such as angel card readers, astrologers, healers, and intuitive counselors.
This category also includes people who assist others with their personal growth and development, such as life coaches. It basically includes anyone who is devoted to helping others succeed in life, and reach their highest potential physically and spiritually.
Level Three
Level three is the level of trailblazers. These are the people who are willing to promote radical change in collective thought, in a way that furthers our planetary evolution as a species in highly positive ways.
These people are divinely inspired and are willing to challenge the status quo of thinking. They are led by an inner strength that comes with the pure knowing of a far greater potential for humanity.
Such individuals are placed upon this Earth as leaders, by a divine unseen hand of love that is likely connected to the larger stewardship of our planet’s evolution. The most important thing to note about such individuals is that they always operate from the highest context of love for our planet, and love for all who reside here.
How can we each benefit from being aware of all three levels?
All three of these levels are absolutely necessary to our planet’s evolution. Each serves an important function and one is not better than the other. We need all three. In fact, there are countless people functioning as lightworkers at level one, who are doing very important work that may not fall into the professional category of level two. Yet these people are incredibly important because they bring their light to so many other areas of life, where it is desperately needed.
In reality, these 3 levels integrate beautifully with one another, and many people actually operate at more than one level simultaneously. In fact, the only reason to separate the path of the lightworker into three different levels is to provide clarity of purpose to anyone who might benefit from that understanding.
The truth is that once you are well on the road to fulfilling your life’s purpose as a lightworker, you are not likely to be thinking about these levels at all.
So you can look at these different levels as a tool to further your own understanding of where you are in your own life. Once you feel confident and at peace with your choices, you don’t have to reference them any further. In a natural sense, such things are not so easily divided.
Here is an example of what I mean by that. We often talk about our bodies, minds, and emotions as three separate things. Yet, when we feel in harmony with ourselves on every level, there is no need to view ourselves in this way. When all is harmonious, we experience the actual wholeness of our beings.
But when we feel confused, in pain, or out of harmony in some way, we may naturally separate our view of ourselves into these three parts, in order to better understand what is going on. When we feel well again, we stop focusing on one area over another. We feel whole again.
Likewise, if we are suffering from confusion or doubt about our life’s purpose, it can be helpful to separate our view into these three different levels of understanding. We can look at each level and ascertain where we are in relation to any of them. Then it is easier to see if we want to stay where we are, or make changes.
The important thing to remember is that it is always your choice to participate in your life’s purpose at whatever level you want. You are free to incorporate all of them, or just one. Just remember that all are needed, so wherever you naturally find yourself to be, you exist as an important and necessary contributing force of love on this planet.

In fact, did you know that along with our own human troubles, we are at the beginning of the sixth great mass extinction event on planet Earth? (The last one was the dinosaurs.)
Perhaps positive thinking dictates that we don’t ponder such obvious atrocities. Yet those of us on this planet who are better off than most have a moral obligation to do so.
The majority of people on this planet may be experiencing too much suffering to have the luxury of contemplating human and planetary evolution. But there are a great many of us who can certainly afford to do so.
Let’s put this in exceedingly simple terms. Our planet is experiencing increasing levels of darkness in the form of struggle, pain, confusion, and overall misery. Darkness can be defined as the absence of light. Where there is light, there is love, peace, harmony, and happiness.
That’s not too complicated, is it?
So what’s up with all this darkness? As strange as this may sound, it’s not about the darkness. It’s about the absence of light. Therefore, the only real issue is about the light.
Look at it this way. If you go outside on a sunny day and stand next to a large, opaque object, you will notice that this opaque object casts a shadow. It eclipses the light. What would happen if you focused on the shadow itself? What if you wanted to get rid of the shadow?
Try this little experiment. Go outside and find a shadow on a sunny day. Now try to get rid of the shadow. What are you going to do? Well, you could try yelling at the shadow and scaring it off. Maybe you could get a broom and try to sweep it away. Perhaps you could even get a bucket of soapy water and try to wash it away.
Guess what. There is nothing you can do to get rid of that shadow, is there? Except for one thing. You can remove whatever object is blocking the light. In which case you’re not focused on the shadow anymore. You are focused on the fact that you want to see the light.
Our situation on planet Earth is very much like this. The shadow represents what happens when the light of divine love is blocked. The effects of that blockage are fear, pain, suffering, and confusion. We can wrestle with the suffering all we want, but it will be about as futile as wrestling with a shadow.
Is it really the darkness that we should be concerned with? Or should we be more concerned with the experience of missing love and light? Where is the love and where is the light? Clearly, something is blocking it.
We are experiencing the collective effects of that blockage, but we rarely think about the blockage itself.
So let’s reevaluate our situation. We know that we need and crave the experience of divine, infinite love and light. We also know that there is increasingly little evidence of that here on a collective, planetary scale.
Let’s stop focusing on the shadow. Instead, let’s reposition ourselves to think about what is blocking our positive experience of love and light.
Let’s start with what is happening inside of ourselves. As human beings, that light is the source of our very essence. So why don’t we experience it? It is fundamentally due to negative belief systems that tell us that God is on the outside. Somewhere up in space, and nobody knows exactly where.
And then we have the religions that tell us that this invisible God is up there somewhere judging and evaluating our every move. So naturally, with this belief, we begin to feel unworthy of God’s love.
What is blocking our experience at this fundamental level is the fact that these beliefs are not true. Just like the opaque object in the sun, that which is not true eclipses what is true.
If we believe what is not true, we will experience that belief as a manifesting illusion. Our illusion in this case will be that God is somewhere else and not within us. In this case, confusion, pain, and suffering will reign on our planet. These are the consequences of this false belief.
So what is the answer? The answer starts with those of us who are comfortable enough that we have the emotional, physical, and mental wherewithal to confront this spiritual lie within ourselves. Confronting this lie is the equivalent of removing the opaque object that blocks the sun. Removing the lie lets that light shine again within our individual experience.
There are currently untold millions of people on our planet suffering and in total survival. That is a very difficult situation in which to contemplate spiritual and personal growth. A person who is running for their life in a war zone or desperately trying to survive due to a lack of food and water is probably not sitting down on a comfy pillow meditating every morning.
But that is likely not your situation if you are reading this, is it? So what can those of us who are more fortunate do?
We can start by understanding that who we are and what we experience contributes to the planetary whole. We are part of a collective humanity. We are not separate.
In a situation with as much darkness as this planet is currently experiencing, every bit of light is desperately needed. Those of us who are more fortunate are most likely the first people who can wake up. Because we can afford the time and the energy to do so.
The world needs your light now more than ever. We owe it to those people among us who are in no position to contemplate such things due to no fault of their own. We are all in this together because we share this planetary environment.
We can each live as the light rather than contribute further to the darkness. Remove the lie that God is not within you. Remove the lie from your consciousness that you are somehow unworthy of God’s love. That is a preposterous notion when God is infinite love.
Embrace, accept, and cultivate that divine light within you. Pray for it. Meditate to find it. Let yourself believe what your heart knows to be true.
