The Single, Most Powerful Thing You Can Do

The Single, Most Powerful Thing You Can Do

As human beings, we naturally strive to improve ourselves and our world. However our efforts can often seem fragmented and confusing, even to ourselves. We tend to look at everything as the sum of the parts. In other words, we believe that if we can assemble enough good efforts, it will eventually add up to a positive personal change or a change in our world.

This often does not work out well because there are so many unexpected things that get in the way. In addition, we have certain habits that are not inclined to disappear easily. It is all too easy to become confused and want to give up. Let’s see if we can consolidate our efforts into a one-pointed focus of energy and receive far more powerful results.

We are fundamentally infinite beings of light. We are love at our core. This truth tends to get broken up as it is filtered through our fragmented perception of ourselves as separate individuals who experience limitation and incongruence in nearly every area of life. We tend to see ourselves as the sum of our many parts. Those parts may consist of our physical, mental, and emotional selves. They consist of our past, our perceived future, and what we believe everyone else thinks of us. They consist of what we think of ourselves.

These parts also consist of our accomplishments, our failures, our possessions, and our relationships. They consist of our likes and our dislikes. They consist of what we think about others, our judgements, our personal weaknesses, and our strengths. And then there are the countless smaller issues that branch off from each of these larger parts. No wonder life can be so confusing. It seems like it would take a master organizer to figure all of this out!

Why I Hate The Food Chain

Why I Hate The Food Chain

I want to invite you to go to a place in your consciousness where you may have never ventured before. I want to suggest that you allow yourself to entertain ideas that perhaps never occurred to you and to question things that you didn’t know you were allowed to question.

Look at the pictures of these gorgeous animals above this writing. I want to point out their beauty and adorableness for a specific reason. That reason has to do with the food chain. The food chain, in my opinion, is entirely incongruent with the creation of such magnificence. And these photos represent only a tiny sample of the breathtaking beauty of all living things on our illustrious planet Earth. Contrast that beauty with the nature of the food chain.

The food chain is a very bizarre phenomenon where in order for something to live, something else must die. Eventually, literally every living thing must die in order to keep things in balance. So living things are killed and replaced through reproduction in this very delicate balance where one species is not allowed to overtake another. But more importantly, the food chain represents a situation where the death of one begets the life of another.

Why Is Goal Setting Important To Planetary Evolution?

Why Is Goal Setting Important To Planetary Evolution?

There tends to be a very large division between how we perceive planetary evolution and how we think about our personal, daily lives. This is why planetary evolution generally remains on the level of fantasy rather than being treated as a practical reality that we can each participate in. Let’s talk about how we can bridge this gap and thus lend powerful purpose to our success as individuals.

The first order of business when it comes to planetary evolution is to determine who is responsible for it. Generally speaking, we humans like to leave this massive project up to God. We assume that we play little or no individual role when it comes to a subject of such vast proportions. With this belief, the best we can contribute as individuals is hope. We hope that somehow it all works out.

A Message From The Stars

A Message From The Stars

There are so many questions inherent to our life on planet Earth. The greatest mystery we face is how to resolve the daily dilemma of duality. How do we reconcile the ever-present conflict between good and bad, right and wrong, love and hate, etc.?

But the question goes even deeper than this. If God is love, then why is there suffering? If God represents unconditional, divine love for every human being, then why do some people struggle in the most dire of circumstances while others seem to be gifted with unrelenting good luck?

The explanations for these quandaries are many. Some say it’s a matter of karma, where people suffer the consequences of their actions in future lifetimes. Others say that planet Earth is really a school where we are sent to learn important lessons about right from wrong. And then there are the religions that purport that God is testing us to see if we can follow certain rules that will lead to our reward or punishment, depending on how well we do.

Some people believe that it is important to experience terrible circumstances so that we will learn to appreciate the positive and seek it out. These are the people that often believe that we choose our circumstances, no matter how bad, in order to evolve.

But what if all of these explanations are wrong? What if there is something else that we haven’t even thought of?

How To Pray Effectively

How To Pray Effectively

In order to pray effectively, you must first see yourself as a co-creator with the divine. So many people have been taught that they are helpless and that their only relationship with God is that of a beggar. Whether you hold that belief consciously or subconsciously, such a belief will dramatically influence how you perceive yourself in relationship to the infinite.

To begin with, it is important that you remember that you, too, are divine. If you separate yourself as one who is not divine, and then say that God is divine, then you are beginning your prayer with an erroneous assumption. God does not create anything unlike itself. God does not create anything that is not divine by nature. In other words, we are all made of the same thing: love and infinite worthiness.

When you acknowledge that you are as divine as the God that you pray to, you place yourself in the same ocean. The ocean of love and worthiness. Now you are positioned to make your request for help as a co-creator

What To Do When The World Seems Unstable

What To Do When The World Seems Unstable

These days it seems like the world can be an incredibly unstable place. It is so important not to let events that seem out of control completely take over our consciousness. This is a case where it is helpful for each of us to remember that we are individuals. There is so much that could be said here, but let me start with a paradigm shift. First of all, we are all infinite beings. That is not philosophy. It is indelible fact. We might be living in finite bodies, but each of us knows that we have no beginning and no end. This is, of course, why we naturally want to live forever. This is why we never run out of desire to go on and on and on with our lives.

So knowing this fact, it behooves us to take the truth of who we are into account when we find ourselves dealing with world events that seem to destabilize all of our lives. We stand on absolutely firm footing when we come from our infinite selves. We can take our physical lives into account by being completely centered in this fact. That is the place from which to start. If you doubt that you are an infinite being, you have only to be honest about your experience to know this for yourself. Look in the mirror. Look into your own eyes. Accept the fact that what you see there is eternal youth and eternal potentiality. There is simply no end to all of the things that you would love to do!

Are You A Lightworker?

Are You A Lightworker?

What is the meaning of the word lightworker? This is an interesting word because many people view it as a noun or some kind of title. We view it as more of a verb. It denotes action, focus, and life purpose. As mere New Age terminology it is basically useless. But as a tool to aid your focus in this life it can serve as a tremendous asset. Why would your contemplation of this word be exceedingly valuable in today’s world? Let me explain.

In this life you can function as either a victim or a creator. There are nothing but disadvantages to functioning as a victim. All the advantages belong to those who function as creators. To function effectively as a creator it is important to align with certain universal principles, starting with love. Love is a light. That is why people literally light up when they feel love. They radiate. In order to understand the meaning of the word lightworker, you must first understand it as love. And secondly you must understand it as love in action

Tune into Angelic Love

Tune into Angelic Love

Angels are one of the most profound and beautiful gifts that are provided for each of us, as a sign of God’s divine love. We each have what are referred to as guardian angels. I like to think of them as guiding angels or angelic friends. Their relationship to each of us is deeply personal, and a product of the fact that divine, omnipresent love is always with us.

Sometimes people don’t believe that such guiding forces of light and love exist around them personally. This is generally the result of a false sense of unworthiness, or the belief that there is no visible sign of such infinite benevolence in a person’s life. Let’s address these two misconceptions.

The first misconception, that one is unworthy, is factually false. If you are alive, then you are absolutely considered worthy to be here. In spite of any person’s perceived mistakes, God’s love still shines with infinite brightness upon every living soul, and help is always available to a sincere heart. For those who don’t believe that they have special angels supporting them, because they see no visible sign of such a thing, let me offer you a few tips to help you understand how to work with your angels effectively

How To Cope With Bad News in the World

How To Cope With Bad News in the World

Let’s face it. The news media will never be the bearer of good news. Think of the news media as a basket that is delivered each day to your front door. It would be nice if that basket contained all sorts of lovely things to brighten your day, give you hope, and make you feel better, wouldn’t it? Unfortunately, that is not the case. Instead, that basket usually contains the equivalent of horrible things that are dark and dirty. It contains all the evidence that can be found of the absolute worst side of humanity. Yay! Isn’t that just what you wanted to know? Don’t you just wake up every morning excited to get out of bed, because you can’t wait to find out what horrible new things human beings have done to ruin themselves and the planet?

It is a well known fact that whatever occupies your thoughts contributes to how you see yourself and the world around you. In order to comprehend whatever you are reading or watching, it must enter your conscious experience, and therefore become a part of your thinking. Headlines in the news media generally scream for your attention. Those headlines beg you to open the articles and read or watch every horrible detail that can be presented. Because the news cycle is 24/7, those details and images will be repeated over and over again. If you continue to take them in, they will eventually fill your mind, leaving no room for beautiful ideas. The fear and anxiety generated by all the bad news can overwhelm your thinking, and thereby create a negative filter through which you may then view your entire life.

The world is obviously a very unstable place. Most of the events are out of the control of any one individual. If we position ourselves to require that such world events are stabilized, in order for us to feel stable as individuals, we could have a long wait indeed. So rather than being overwhelmed by such events, why don’t we take a different approach that empowers us right now?

Be the Sunshine!

Be the Sunshine!

All too often, we tend to approach our personal evolution as though it is only about our seemingly separate selves. But what if our individual evolution affects the entire planet?  You already know that when people suffer, it contributes the energy of that suffering to the planetary whole. So if we each make the effort to evolve towards peace and happiness in our individual lives, then clearly that contributes a positive, uplifting energy into the same planetary whole.

Why not think of our world as holding an ecological balance of consciousness and energy? This would certainly suggest that collectively we are vastly out of balance, since the consciousness and energy of pain and suffering far outweighs that of harmony and peace. Do you realize that we can each become a significant player in Earth’s evolution by contributing a joyful, happy energy into this out-of-balance larger whole? The only way to do this authentically is to strive to improve our individual lives to become lives that bring us joy.

Let’s use a simple image to illustrate this point. Imagine that the color grey represents the energy of pain, suffering, and human depression. Now imagine that the color yellow represents happiness. If we could draw a global map of Earth’s atmosphere of human consciousness using these two colors, what would that map look like?
